Your presence at the upcoming EXPO Andina Link Costa Rica XV is of utmost importance to us, please join us in the coming celebration at the Barceló San José Palacio Hotel from the 3rd to 5th of September in Costa Rica.

This version will be launched with added innovation brough from our historic alliance with the Costa Rica Filmic Commission, which involves 7 entities: PROCOMER (External Commerce Promoter), COMEX (Ministry of Exterior Commerce), CINDE (Coalition of National Initiatives for Development), ICT (Costa Rican Institute of Tourism), MCJ (Ministry of Culture and Youth), the Costa Rican Cinematic Centre, and CAIAC (Chamber of the Audiovisual Costa Rican Industry).
This alliance allows for the creation of a new space – MAUC: Central American and Caribbean Audiovisual Market.

MISSION: Facilitate business and exchange between sellers of Central American and Caribbean goods and buyers of international audiovisual goods.
VISION: To be the reference platform, for Central America and the Caribbean, in trade of audiovisual goods and cultural promotion of sustainable businesses.

MAUCC will be a new wheel of business contents that will allow Latin American exhibitors to conduct business with producing companies from the Central America and Caribbean area. This space permits the acquisition of new and finalized audiovisual projects, investment in projects under production, co-production in enticing projects, and creation of distribution deals with novel audiovisual producers of cinema and television.
This will be an open space so that the industry of the whole region can find itself around high quality international Spanish productions. The business model in this platform is facilitation of encounters so that all present can make agreements of exchange content models, in a direct fashion with no intermediaries. This can be done in a modality of sharing, trading, selling, renting, or any other model that is agreeable to both parties of exchange.

Along with our objective of creating a regional integration of the audiovisual field, that strengthens offers of channel programming and favors the cultural and social pan regional promotion. For the first time in the history of Andina Link Costa Rica, we will have special academic scheduling for experts, which will serve to reflect about the big changes happening in the audiovisual ecosystem on a global level

Besides the commercial array of exhibitors from around the world, presenting solutions of the open television industry and subscription-based industry, we are also providing those present to this wheel of exchange the opportunity to attend the FICA Forum, an academic event with specialized themes of the telecommunication sector, which will be part of the EXPO Andina Link Costa Rica XV.

When and where is the event?
